An ultrasound and biopsy soon confirmed that she had breast cancer, making her case 1 in a million due to her young age. Her cancer is considered stage 3 because of its spread to her lymph nodes and she will have to undergo four months of chemotherapy, followed by radiation and possible surgery.
The likelihood of recovery is high due to your age and general health. For now, she remains strong and strives to find beauty in everything. The actress has begun documenting her journey on a blog, hoping that she can inspire, comfort and heal others in similar situations.
The actress also acknowledged that there are many other aspects of cancer as a woman that most do not know about, such as freezing her eggs as a precautionary measure in case the cancer affects her motherhood.
