EParents in Dresden and Leipzig again have to adapt to restrictions in the care of their daycare children. The Verdi union and the Education and Science Union (GEW) have called for warning strikes in municipal facilities. In Leipzig, the city administration recommends parents to organize alternative care as a precaution. A final decision can only be made on Monday morning as to whether a facility must remain closed. Emergency care is just as little planned in the trade fair city as in Dresden.
The state capital wants to provide an overview of which facilities are specifically affected by the strike on a website from 6 a.m. in the morning. Parents can also get information via a hotline.
