Anthony Richard Scully (born April 19, 1999) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a forward for League One club Lincoln City.

Club career

Scully joined West Ham United as a youth player in 2011. On May 23, 2016, West Ham announced that Scully had signed her first professional contract with the club. During Scully’s time in West Ham, he appeared as a test driver for Norwich City and Nottingham Forest.[2][3] On February 3, 2020, after 37 appearances with West Ham under the age of 23, Scully signed for League One club Lincoln City.[4] On February 15, 2020, in her first start with Lincoln, Scully scored her first goal for the club in a 4-3 loss to Accrington Stanley.[5]

international career

Scully initially represented the under-15s of Ireland,[6] before switching allegiance to play England U16 side.[7] Scully later returned to the Irish organization, captaining the Under 17s.[3]

Personal life

Scully’s father Tony was a professional footballer, playing for Crystal Palace, Manchester City and Queens Park Rangers.[2]
