They also incorporate themes such as conspiracies, attacks against Zionist states, support anti-Semitic comments from public figures like Kanye Westracialized antisemitism and historical tropes.

The report covered periods from the June 1, 2022 to February 9, 2023so at that time, the ISD detected 325.739 tweets ‘plausibly antisemitic’ out of 146,516 accounts.

The organization indicated that the volume of anti-Semitic tweets doubled after the purchase of Twitter by magnate Elon Musk.

According to a report, since Musk acquired Twitter, anti-Semitic speeches have doubled.

Prior to the operation, the ISD identified a weekly average of 6,204 ‘plausibly anti-Semitic’ tweets.

In addition, the report found that between October 27 and November 6, 3,855 such accounts were created, an increase of 223% unlike eleven days before purchase.

From the ISD they explained that “our data present a clear picture: anti-Semitism skyrocketed on Twitter during its acquisition by Musk, and remained at a high level in the following months.”
