Hardly any well-known footballer of the present changes his hairstyle as often as Antoine Griezmann. Atletico Madrid’s star attacker now explains his hair tick.
Antoine Griezmann already had a long mane, dreadlocks also adorned his scalp. His hair was already dyed green, blue and light blonde. His hair has recently turned pink.
Griezmann now explains his penchant for frequent hair changes to the sports daily AS. “If I do weird haircuts it means I’m happy,” said the France international.
Griezmann joined Real Sociedad’s youth department from his native France in 2005. In 2014, the 30 million euro transfer to Atletico Madrid followed. In 2019 he answered the call of FC Barcelona, but was not completely happy at the Camp Nou. He has been back for the Colchoneros since 2021.

“This is my home. I really enjoy being with my teammates,” enthuses the vice world champion, who still sees room for improvement: “I haven’t reached my best level yet, but I’m having fun for this one coach, this team and this club.”
