◀ Anchor ▶

The January bill that surprised many people, and the heating bill in December of last year.

In one year in apartment-like condominiums, the average price has risen by more than 50%.

The February bill is coming out in earnest from the middle of this month, but I’m already worried.

This is reporter Kim Yoon-mi.

An apartment in Nowon-gu, Seoul.

I have been worried since there was a notice on the bulletin board in the hallway saying that the heat rate would increase significantly from October.

“When the cold season hits, the heating will have to be turned off, but people will feel a lot of pressure.”

Accepted December heating bill.

When we investigated the average heating cost for apartments across the country, it was 514 won per square meter, up 53.9% from a year ago.

City gas and heat rates themselves rose by 38% each.

However, due to the strong cold wave, the demand for heating increased, and the real increase was larger.

The worries of the self-employed have deepened.

In order to stabilize prices, residential rates were fixed and started to rise last year, but industrial rates were reflected in the rate whenever raw material costs changed, and the rate of increase reached 58%.

It is a structure in which the burden of bills is inevitably higher even if the heating is the same as that of a normal home.

“You can’t afford not to heat the students. Gosiwons with a small number of interns can run into losses.”

However, there is no separate heating gas fee support plan for self-employed people.

The February maintenance bill will immediately reflect the increased electricity bill from this year.

Since the beginning of this year, electricity rates have risen by 13.1 won per kwh, or 9.5%.
