Hendrik Weydandt can add another club to his list of interested parties. According to the ‘kicker’, Arminia Bielefeld has entered the race for the 24-year-old striker. Weydandt is free to transfer as his contract with Hannover 96 expired at the end of June. The Lower Saxony had hoped for an extension with the right foot until the end.
In addition to promoted Bielefeld, Fortuna Düsseldorf, Hamburger SV, VfB Stuttgart and FSV Mainz 05 have also given their business card to Weydandt. In the past second league season, the right foot was involved in 14 league games in 14 goals (nine goals, five assists).
