Danny Welbeck's season – and probably his career at Arsenal – is over, but the Gunners are afraid.
Welbeck prevailed in the first half against Sebastian Coates of Sporting Lisbon and landed awkwardly on Thursday night.
The England international was carried off on a stretcher after using oxygen on the court.
According to Mail Online, however, the damage is substantial and doctors are worried that Welbeck has suffered a fracture, dislocation and ligament injuries.

If that proves correct, he will not play this season.
That would probably also mean the end of his career with Emirates with the former Manchester United striker in the summer. There are no plans for a new deal.
It is expected that a message will confirm the message within three days.
