The owner of the WBC, WBO and IBF light heavyweight titles Artur Beterbiev said that after the end of his boxing career he was going to return from Canada to Russia.
According to a native of Chechnya, who is currently playing under the flag of Canada, he once decided to move, as his promoters insisted on it.
“Most likely, I will return to Russia, because my main life was spent here. When I turned professional, I was given the condition that I live in Canada, not move back and forth. For promoters, this was important. Therefore, it turned out that I’m there now because of my boxing career. After that, I’ll probably return,” Beterbiev said in an interview with the KP Sport YouTube channel.
