An impressive plume of ash escapes from the crater of Etna (Italy), partially covered with snow. A little over 24 hours ago, Monday, December 24, the largest active volcano in Europe erupted. The column of smoke several kilometers long is frozen in the sky of Sicily. Ashes are deposited everywhere in the cities located around the volcano.
