Al-Marsad newspaper: Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy, confirmed, during his response to a question from a journalist participating in the 44th International Conference on Energy Economics in Riyadh, that the Kingdom is not abstract with regard to the energy crisis in some countries.
Prince Abdulaziz said: “We in the Kingdom are also merciful, and we are not devoid of emotions or humanity. Ask our friends in Ukraine.”
And he continued: “All that has happened and is happening now regarding the so-called sanctions, embargoes, weak investments, and others, will result in only one thing, which is the lack of energy supplies in all its forms when it is most needed.”
He added: “And this is what I fear and what I do not want to be responsible for. This is what I used to warn people about and still warn about. All this expected path for the future may be lost due to ignorance.”
And he continued: “I promised you that things would be better than what can be obtained, and this is my personal opinion and it is not politicized. As a responsible citizen in this world, I want people to understand that what is happening today may lead to a lack of energy supplies when it is most needed.”
