The Digos of Turin is executing eleven precautionary measures, against militants of the Askatasuna social center and other collectives, for the assault on the Industrial Union of the Piedmontese capital last February 18 during a student demonstration. Three precautionary measures in prison, four under house arrest and as many signature obligations. Aggravated injuries, resistance and violence the charges disputed.
According to the investigators of the Digos of Turin, led by the manager Carlo Ambra, the eleven antagonists hit by precautionary measures tried with sticks, firecrackers and throwing objects to break into the headquarters of the Industrial Union, in via Vela.
After throwing paint eggs at the building, the demonstrators forced the front door to enter the offices, but the police managed to block the attempt. In the assault, during a march against school-work alternation following the death of Lorenzo Parelli and Giuseppe Lenoci, six carabinieri and a police officer were injured.
