Asturgar SGR provides liquidity to Asturian freelancers and SMEs affected by COVID-19 with a line of guarantees of 10,000,000 euros

Asturgar SGR has launched the Covid-19 Lines, lines of guarantees aimed at financing SMEs and the self-employed, for an initial amount of 10 million euros (of which 2 million euros will go specifically to the self-employed), aimed at fundamentally to liquidity operations. These lines have the support of the Government of the Principality of Asturias through IDEPA.

These lines incorporate the best financial conditions, since the maximum interest rates will be 1.50% at a fixed rate or the 12-month Euribor + 1.50% in the event of opting for a variable interest rate. These loans will also have no early cancellation fee.

Additionally, IDEPA will subsidize 100% of the costs of the guarantee, which supposes additional support for SMEs and Asturian self-employed at the moment. The operations may be considered with very flexible terms that can go up to seven years, including up to twelve months grace period.

The recipients will be self-employed and SMEs with registered office in Asturias, whatever their legal form (commercial companies, social economy companies or self-employed) and who have been affected by the crisis caused by Covid-19. These companies may choose one of the three modalities that are offered depending on their situation.

On the one hand, specifically aimed at those small self-employed workers who present economic difficulties as a consequence of the crisis caused by the Covid-19, you can request aSelf-Employed Covid-19 Microloanfor an amount between 5,000 and 20,000 euros (taking as a limit a maximum of three months of billing for the last closed fiscal year). These financing will have a maximum term of 5 years, in which a maximum of twelve months grace period can be included.

On the other hand, theCovid-19 SME and Self-Employed Loan, aims to provide support to those SMEs and the self-employed with some greater need due to the Covid-19 crisis, being able to request loans of up to 100,000 euros per owner (also subject to the three-month billing limitation of the last closed fiscal year). In this case, the term of the operations may be up to seven years with up to twelve months grace period included.

Finally, those companies with operations in force in Asturgar SGR, may request a grace period of up to 12 months, a period that must be submitted for approval by financial entities, in operations in force with Asturgar SGR.

Applications are already available and are made in a simple and agile way through the Asturgar Online digital platform, which will avoid unnecessary movements, thus also contributing to the prevention of the pandemic.
