The TUF Gaming product line from ASUSTeK Computer now includes graphics adapters. Recently, the Taiwanese manufacturer announced the TUF GeForce RTX 2060 and RTX 2060 OC video cards, the differences between which boil down to the maximum frequencies of the Nvidia TU106 graphics processor.
ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 2060 video cards occupy the space of two expansion slots, and its cooler consists of an aluminum heatsink pierced with several heat pipes and a pair of ~ 80 mm fans on a double rolling bearing. A metal plate is installed on the back of the cards. An additional power source is connected via an 8-pin PCI-E Power connector.
As for the operating frequencies of the graphics chip, in both cases there is a small factory overclocking. The TUF GeForce RTX 2060 model has increased the maximum GPU frequency to 1710 MHz (from the recommended 1680 MHz), while for the version with the OC mark, this value is increased to 1740 MHz. The effective frequency of GDDR6 video memory is 14 GHz. The back panel has HDMI 2.0b (x2), DisplayPort 1.4 and DVI-D video outputs.
The estimated cost of ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 2060 and RTX 2060 OC video cards has not been disclosed yet. Recall that in overseas stores, GeForce RTX 2060 adapters can be purchased for as low as $ 350.
