At least 14 dead in China's highway congestion

BEIJING authorities in China say that at least 14 people have been killed in a highway congestion and 27 have been injured.

The accident on Saturday night occurred after a heavy truck had lost control and crashed into a series of vehicles waiting at a toll station in northwestern Gansu Province.

Last week, 15 people were killed when a bus crashed from a high bridge into the Chinese Yangtze River in western Chongqing.

In this accident, an eight-second police surveillance video showed the driver and passenger arguing and confronting each other at the moments of sudden oncoming traffic and bridge crossing.
