BEIJING – Authorities in China said on Saturday that at least 14 people were killed in a highway congestion and 27 were injured. The accident on Saturday night occurred after a heavy truck had lost control and crashed into a series of vehicles waiting at a toll station in northwestern Gansu Province.
Last week, 15 people were killed after a bus crashed from a high bridge into the Chinese Yangtze River in the western city of Chongqing.
