Australia: Robbie Fowler leaves Brisbane amid coronavirus – Foot – AUS – Brisbane

Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler is no longer coach of Brisbane Roar in the Australian Championship, the club justifying the end of their collaboration by the Covid-19 pandemic. ” I would like to thank the club for the opportunity, and the supporters of Brisbane Roar FC for their warm welcome and support for the team and myself. Fowler, appointed in April 2019, returned to England after the suspension at the end of March, due to a health crisis, of the Australian Championship. He had always been evasive about his return to the mainland, where all foreigners must put themselves in their fortnight upon arrival.
