A baby with the novel coronavirus was born in the Caucasus region in Russia. As the Russian news agency Tass reported on Sunday, the pregnant mother had previously contracted Covid-19. It is said that mother and child are now at home. The condition of the two is called “satisfactory”.
The Beslan-born baby is not the first case of a child born with the coronavirus. As early as mid-April, a newborn in Peru tested positive for the virus.
