Due to the rapid development of high technology in medicine and the ability to obtain images of the highest resolution, allowing today to study the studied objects in detail, a previously unknown place in the human body, which bacteria have chosen, has been found. And they can form clusters there.
This is the human brain! It is protected by nature, but, nevertheless, recent studies confirm that this is so. There are skeptics, but most scientists do not question this discovery. The fact is that electron microscopy is practically not subjected to the brain of the dead, therefore research of samples of brain tissue has not been carried out.
It is a fact that the intestine is the organ most populated by various bacteria. And some of them, Firmicutes, Proteobacteria and Bacteroidetes, were found in the human brain, and no inflammatory processes were found. Scientists have a question, how did they get into the brain? When bacteria enter the brain, it can lead to neurological diseases, including schizophrenia and even Parkinson's disease.
The main question scientists are asking is how intestinal bacteria hit the brain. Conclusions not yet made. Perhaps this happened with the blood flow through the vessels. But research continues, sooner or later, scientists will find the answer to this question.
