Saint-Rémy-sur-Avre. General Assembly of the “Vallée d’Avre Badmington Club”. The badminton club resumed its activities on August 31 after the period of shutdown imposed by the health crisis.
With 70 licensees including 26 young, the past season, the Vallée d’Avre Badmington Club seems to start the season well with about fifteen new recruits among the 50 or so registered.
A new breath
In terms of results, the club stood out with Laura Grandière, Emmy Quefelec, Fanny Bafcop, Lucas Gué-Leclerc and Flavian Lavinay. After having recently celebrated his twenty-two years as a leader, including three as president of the VABC, Sylvain Roingeau welcomed the development of badminton at the departmental level, reinforced in this by Jean-Yves Nivault, vice-president Chairman of the Departmental Committee.
Concerning the local club, the moral report and the financial report were unanimously approved as well as the office with as president Sylvain Roingeau, Céline Grandière treasurer and Pierre Wech as assistant, Jean-Luc Humbert secretary and Sabine Roingeau, assistant secretary .
A wind of youth is blowing over the club as Laura Grandière and Flavian Lavinay have joined the office to the applause.
