FAJAR.CO.ID – Spokesperson for the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Fadjroel Rachman said that as of December 2021, he will no longer serve as spokesman for the head of state Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
According to Fadjroel, in December 2021 he will work as the Indonesian Ambassador to Kazakhstan who is concurrently the Republic of Tajikistan.
“It’s still December (to be ambassador-ed). Now he is still on duty as spokesman again. Not yet. Haven’t moved to an honorary position yet,” said Fadjroel in a virtual discussion in Jakarta, Saturday (28/8/2021).
Meanwhile, the former student activist is one of 32 candidates for the Indonesian Ambassador. He was appointed as a candidate for the Indonesian Ambassador to Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tajikistan and is domiciled in the City of Nur-Sultan.
The appointment of Fadjroel Rachman refers to the Letter of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number R-25/Pres/06/2021, dated June 4, 2021. Fadjroel has also undergone a fit and proper test at the DPR RI on July 14, 2021.
Previously, Fadjroel Rahman admitted that he was ready to be placed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to become a candidate for Ambassador to Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tajikistan. For Fadjroel, the position given to him by President Jokowi is an invaluable mandate from the state. “Any task that President Jokowi has directed to me is a priceless gift,” said Fadjroel.
