Benoit St Denis wins by TKO for the first French victory of UFC Paris

Benoit Saint Denis was the first French fighter to fight in this first UFC in France. A historic moment

Saint Denis faced Brazilian Gabriel Miranda, a 32-year-old fighter who had a record of 16 wins for 5 losses and who was making his first fight with the UFC.

Winner over Niklas Stolze at UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Rozenstruik last April, Benoit offered his second victory with the organization.

The fight got off to a quick start, and Miranda has already thrown several takedown attempts. We know that Saint Denis is a tough fighter but the Brazilian also seems solid.

Benoit touches his opponent on a big left, Miranda goes to the ground and the Frenchman tries to finish the fight in ground n’ pound, in vain. Gabriel tries to stay on the ground as much as possible, avoiding stand-up exchanges.

Benoit touches Miranda again in English and could finish it but the gong rings.

Benoit returned to the charge at the start of the second round and again touched the Brazilian in boxing, this time the Frenchman managed to finish the fight in GNP and sign the first French victory of this UFC Paris.
