Croatian footballer Ivan Perišič had a positive coronavirus test on Saturday and will miss the eighth finals of the European Championships against Spain.

The 30-year-old winger is waiting for a ten-day quarantine, the rest of the team had a negative result, the AP agency reported.
“Ivan’s medical team immediately isolated itself from other team members and informed the competent authorities. At the same time, we provided all the information on compliance with the prescribed steps against further spread of the virus, “said the Croatian national team in the opinion.
The match with Spain is on the program on Monday from 18.00 in Copenhagen. Perišič will not be available to Croats even in the case of advancing to the quarterfinals or semifinals, which will take place on 6 July.
