Take a close look, and you'll find that most of these areas put the map together in Call of Duty: The blackout mode of Black Ops 4 is a replica of some of the most popular multiplayer and zombie maps from Treyarch's CoD games. Loot Abundance feels just as generous as the fast movement that is cult for Call of Duty-as watching from our local BR players – so it's not that hard to decide where the wingsuit is like a tactical sugar glider, like PUBG's feasts or famine places. Still, some points stand above the rest for their dependable bounties or the location for a less intense drop. Here are some of the selections to start a blackout round on the right.

1. Nuketown Island (B5)

The T-shaped avenue of ruined houses that line the surface of this island on the western edge of the blackout card houses numerous weapons and armor. So expect a guaranteed melee action if you choose to land here. The true price of the island lies in the underground: a vast bunker complex accessible via concrete hatches distributed on the surface (as at the end of the southern road).

Combined with the relative safety of the bunker's straight aisles – all you have to do is look for opponents in front of and behind you – is an increased chance for quality equipment like the rarer, upgradeable gold version for weapons. Spend enough time exploring and you can often leave the bunker as a fully decked BR God in the early stages of a turn. Be careful when leaving the island as the northeastern and southeastern bridges are usually monitored by snipers.

2. Asylum (G4)

Nothing screams, "hey, look at the zombies we use in blackout" as the Halloween postcard asylum sits on the hills at the eastern end of the map. You're sure to whip up a horde of Whistling Shamblers as you stomp around the building's two stories (you can see if a location will have zombies shooting a blue ray of light in the distance) or the backyard hedge brave Labyrinth Keep your ears sharp for enemy player steps behind all the groaning and moaning.

You can buy powerful weapons from the Black Ops Zombies series here, including the two-hand LMG and Monkey Bomb Grenade. The zombies themselves have a chance to drop medical items and weapons (as they ignite) like the almighty ray gun – a shot from their stupid barrel will kill or eliminate a non-armored player. The asylum can also spawn a Mystery Box (usually on the second floor), which can lend a handful of supplies or gold variants.

3. Lighthouse (C7)

Lonely sitting to the south of the map is the lighthouse, an early unmarked landmark that Treyarch updated with a callout shortly after the launch of the beta version. The landing here is a quieter strategy for collecting equipment, as not many players prefer the long trips necessary to either reach the circle or find something inland. Their chances of a fight immediately after touchdown are therefore low, so that snooping around the lighthouse provides a relatively relaxing prelude gear; Make sure you have to climb the actual tower to get a typical level 3 armor spawn near the top. An ATV will often spawn at the end of the walkway of the lighthouse.

4. Fracking Tower (E6)

Check your self-confidence as the Fracking Tower is one of the most visited hotspots on the entire map. Its location south of the map center makes it an ideal base for other nearby attractions, and the Tower area offers a variety of equipment sitting in its clustered office buildings and cargo containers. Climbing the tower provides a commanding view of the surrounding hilltops, but do not stay at risk for sniper fire. Consider these advantages against your fast movement and pickup skills as you will almost always land in the company of five or more.

5. Neighborhood south of the construction site (C3)

The unnamed areas, which are scattered between the map's major landmarks, are often gold mines because they tap into a lot of equipment with little confrontation. Such a place is the sextet of modern houses south of the construction site. Each home is a treasure trove of high-end armor and passive supplies, and the popular sniper rifle Koshka is common here. When hunted, it's easy to melt into the tree line in the southeast or fall down to the beach to break line of sight. They are also in the best position to ambush travelers heading north from Array Island or Nuketown Island, or to try a lucky snipe on the site.

6. Control Center Building west of Hydro Dam (G2)

The two large office buildings west of the looming Hydro Dam are a great place to get used to the first laps. They contain numerous equipment, weapons, grenades, medicines and a small number of players due to their proximity to the edge of the card. On the second floor of each office you will find workhorse weapons, including the reliable Rampart-17 and ICR-7 assault rifles. Since the hydro dam was probably looted at the time you finished the offices, try pecking at the houses lining the western street. If you are looking for kills, head southwest to the train station.
