TRIBUN-MEDAN.COM – The North Sumatra region, based on the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecast, has the potential to be hit by heavy rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds, on May 24, 2022.
This is based on the BMKG release regarding early warnings for extreme weather that occurred in 29 regions.
BMKG predicts 25 regions in Indonesia have the potential for heavy rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds.
Meanwhile, three other areas are predicted to have the potential to rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds.
The following is an early warning for extreme weather on Tuesday (24/5/2022) released by the BMKG

• Riau
• West Kalimantan
