BOston forced Miami to a sixth inning in the Eastern Conference Finals of the NBA playoffs, the North American basketball league, following their 110-97 win over the Heat on Thursday in the fifth inning. Miami, however, remains in control of this series in the best of seven sets (3-2).
After staying alive in the fourth inning, Boston continued their momentum in the fifth inning. In front of their audience, the Celtics set the game on fire to take a fifteen-point lead at the end of the first quarter (35-20) then twenty at half-time (61-41).
With four players at least 21 points, Boston managed its lead in the second half to finally win 110-97 against the Heat where Bam Adebayo (16 points) and Jimmy Butler (14 points) were too discreet.
Boston is just two wins away from being the first team in history to win a playoff series after trailing 3-0. Miami remains in control of the series, however, and will have the opportunity to qualify for the NBA Finals if they win the sixth round in front of their home crowd on Sunday at 2:30 a.m. Belgian time.
The winner of this series will face Denver in the NBA Finals. The Nuggets won the Western Conference final against the Los Angeles Lakers (4-0).
