Bowers & Wilkins lanciert Dolby-Atmos-Soundbar

Audio technology company Bowers & Wilkins has unveiled a new soundbar. As the company announces, the Panorama 3 is a Dolby Atmos soundbar. It is designed to get the most out of spatial audio effects, delivering room-filling sound for movies, TV shows, games and music.

The manufacturer explains that the Panorama 3 is based on the concept of the two predecessors. The case is 65 millimeters high, 140 millimeters deep and 1.21 meters wide. In addition, the soundbar is easy to install, set up and easy to use. The Panorama 3 contains a total of 13 individual drivers in a 3.1.2 configuration. The 50 millimeter drivers are said to be specially designed for spatial sound effects. According to the report, they can offer all-round sound thanks to their slanted positioning. With a total of 400 watts of power, the Panorama 3 is one of the most powerful soundbars in its class. Each tweeter, each pair of mid-range speakers, each subwoofer and each Dolby Atmos speaker chassis has an output of 40 watts.

Stephanie Willems, Brand President of Bowers & Wilkins, says: “We are very excited to launch our first Dolby Atmos soundbar, the Panorama 3. It combines the great sound quality and high standards of a Bowers & Wilkins product with outstanding usability and particularly elegant design. I am sure that this first-class combination of room-filling sound and comprehensive features will delight our fans.”

More and more devices can be controlled by voice, but that doesn’t always deliver what one would hope for, especially in German-speaking Switzerland. Here you can find out why many language assistants still have problems with “Schwiizerdütsch”.
