‘Bridgerton’ actress Ruby Barker, 25, has testified on social media about her hospitalization because she struggles with her mental health. In a video she says that life was very difficult for her for a while. She now wants to encourage fans who are struggling to take good care of themselves. “Take a break, give it to yourself.”

“It’s mental health week for me every week,” Ruby Barker wrote on Instagram. “I have to get this off my chest. I haven’t been completely honest with you. This is for my followers, it’s time to be transparent. I’ve been struggling with my mental health since Bridgertonthat is the truth.”

Barker says in the video on her Instagram page that she is better now, but that it has been very difficult. In the sense that she was also hospitalized. “The world can be a confusing place. Sometimes you just have to be able to say that you can’t do it anymore, that’s what I eventually did. I’m still in hospital at the moment, but I’m almost allowed to go home and then hopefully I can get on with my life.”

Barker, who takes on the role of Marina Thompson in the hit Netflix series Bridgerton, says she is going to rest for a while. At the same time, she encourages others to do the same. “If you’re having a hard time, take a break. Give it to yourself. Don’t be so hard on yourself.”

Barker concludes her message by thanking her fans. “Thanks for your support. Your love keeps me upright.”
