Wow – what a night!
Once again, Bridgwater Carnival was a spectacular show in which more than 100,000 people watched the lit procession and examined the entertainment of the day.
Despite the one-hour delay due to a failed car many night owls stayed on Saturday night (4 November) later than planned for the Squibbing.
While there are even more ways to celebrate a carnival in Somerset before the season is over, people have to wonder when the carnival returns to Bridgwater.
Good news is that it takes less than 365 days for the next iconic event.
Bridgwater Carnival always takes place on the first Saturday of November, and as the calendar goes down, it means you do not have to wait as long as you thought!
This means that the appointment must be entered in your journal on 2 November 2019.
However, if we look further into the future, the 2020 issue will be longer.
On the 7th of November will be the day of the Bridgwater Carnival, which means that the spectators will have to wait more than 365 days for the carnival!
Until then enjoy the procession of this year with our video of the carts in their splendor.
