Sandhausen (dpa) – Sei Muroya from the second division soccer team Hannover 96 suffered a broken nose during the away win in Sandhausen, the Lower Saxony announced on Saturday night.
The 28-year-old Japanese got a foot in the face in the final stages of the 3-2 win on Friday evening and had to be treated for a long time. After the game, Muroya was examined at Heidelberg University Hospital. No other facial injuries were found. There was never a suspicion of concussion, the club said.
