The final weekend! The 34th match day of Bundesliga

The season finale in the Bundesliga is scheduled for the weekend and promises excitement right to the end. Who holds the class, who has to go down, who goes up? The first answers will be available on Saturday at 3.30 p.m. when all nine games of the 34th Bundesliga matchday kick off at the same time.

The games in Dortmund and Stuttgart enjoy special attention. Felix Magath and Hertha BSC are guests at BVB, who want to win the long-distance duel with VfB, who are also threatened with relegation, in order to avoid relegation. The Stuttgarters themselves meet the ambitious 1. FC Köln, who still have hopes of the Europa League, in front of their home crowd.

Due to the weak goal difference, Arminia Bielefeld will probably no longer have a chance of reaching that relegation place that Hertha and VfB absolutely want to avoid. The East Westphalians meet RB Leipzig, who absolutely want to defend fourth place and thus their right to play in the Champions League. With a deficit of just two points, however, SC Freiburg is breathing down Leipzig’s neck and has to play at Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

Who manages to avoid the descent?

Sky broadcasts the entire day of the Bundesliga final live and exclusively from 1:30 p.m. Presenter Britta Hofmann, together with Sky expert Didi Hamann, welcomes the viewers to the prime time of German football in the “tipico countdown” and prepares them for the games of the 34th matchday. Among other things, FC Bayern is a guest at VfL Wolfsburg.

Sky will broadcast all nine afternoon games either as individual games or as part of the original Sky conference.

To get in the mood for Saturday, “Matchplan” will be dedicated to the duel between VfB Stuttgart and 1. FC Köln on Thursday evening at 8 p.m. In the tactics challenge with moderator Jan Henkel, Manuel Baum represents the Swabians, while Imke Wübbenhorst presents her plan from the point of view of the people of Domstadt.
