Open from Wednesday, May 6th:
- Schools for pupils primary school classes 4 and pre-graduation classes (9th grades, 11th grades)
This applies to meetings and services from May 4
Gatherings: The number of participants is fixed at 50 people, who are allowed to gather for a time-limited event of 1 hour and have to keep the minimum distance of 1.5 to 2 meters.
Freedom of assembly is a central right as a fundamental right. That basically exists. Infection protection reasons specify the rules.
Events of up to 30 people are permitted in closed rooms, depending on the size of the room. This applies above all to educational institutions that offer further training, said Minister of Social Affairs Petra Köpping.
Services: The visitor restrictions have been lifted here. Saxony had already relaxed the ban on meetings for religious gatherings and allowed a maximum of 15 visitors for church services, baptisms, marriages and religious services. This restriction will cease to apply on May 4th. According to Minister of Social Affairs Petra Köpping, the strict hygiene regulations apply to worship services. Visitors must keep a distance of at least 1.5 meters. Places are marked in the churches, even for outdoor services. Families living in the same household can sit together. There will still be no choirs, orchestras and wind orchestras, only music by individual musicians or the cantor.
This applies to daycare centers and parental contributions
Important for parents: Those who do not have their child cared for in the daycare center do not have to pay any daycare fees until May 25, 2020. Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer said this after talking to the local authorities.
Saxony’s educators and daycare staff, like the teachers in schools, are to be given basic equipment with protective masks and hygiene items. This was presented by Social Minister Köpping on Thursday.
Decisions on day care centers must be made uniformly nationwide. There will be group size limits, no mixing. Additional rooms may be required in the facilities.
What to do with daycare centers, schools, restaurants and summer vacation?
Next Wednesday, May 6th, the round of government leaders wants to discuss again. This is on the topic plan:
