It was alleged that actor Cho Byeong-gyu was a school violence perpetrator. This is the second suspicion following the allegation of abusing that was raised during the airing of’Sky Castle’.
On the 16th, in an online community, Mr. A, who attended the same school in New Zealand with Cho Byeong-gyu, claimed that he had been victimized by Cho Byeong-gyu in the middle of 2011.
Mr. A, who knew that he became a celebrity after seeing Cho Byeong-gyu appear in’Sky Castle’, said, “The school violence has continued to circulate, but there are no specific cases and the agency is not constantly suing. I hope you do it to the victims once. It was a pity to treat the victims as vague,” he revealed the reason for writing.
Mr. A said he went to New Zealand to study alone at the age of 16 and recalled his first meeting, saying, “One day, the first child I saw in class came in. That was Cho Byeong-kyu. After that, after the first meeting, when he did not respond properly, he claimed that he had driven numerous older brothers and insulted him.
“I was so angry, I went to a place where Korean students managed and talked about it, so I knew my parents and my homestay aunt, and I called Byeong-gyu Cho and talked to me.” If there is, I will take action according to the school regulations, so I just said, “Get along, and I finished.”
Mr. A also said at the time that Cho Byeong-gyu told about his sexual experience in class, swearing at foreign teachers, and talking about hemp with the kids. “I remember that he was a dirty kid, but since he became a celebrity, his agency stopped him and all the victims. It seems to be buried,” continued shocking revelations.
Regarding the violence inflicted by Cho Byeong-gyu, Mr. A said, “In conclusion, I didn’t use violence. There was only verbal violence,” but he advised, “I wish I could live confidently without asking about your past. I just have to apologize.”
“I only told the facts, and if it is different from this, I promise to take responsibility for all damages for the damages of Cho Byeong-gyu.”
This is not the first time that Cho Byeong-gyu has been suspicious of abusing college students. With the airing of’Sky Castle’ in 2019, Cho Byeong-gyu’s popularity rose, leading to suspicion of Cho Byeong-gyu’s school abuse online. At the time, the agency strongly denied the suspicion of school abuse by Cho Byeong-gyu, suggesting a legal response, and Jo Byeong-gyu also posted a post on social media, saying, “I hope that the time I tried to give public awareness by working with this unfounded post for 3 years will not be useless. I never did that.
Since then, Cho Byeong-gyu has made a series of hits from SBS’Stove League’ and OCN’s’Wonderful Rumors’, and has emerged as a trend in the entertainment industry by working as a member of the entertainment program with Yoo Jae-seok. In this situation, attention is being focused on the secondary exposure of the school.
The netizens responded to Mr. A’s writing as “shocking”, while also suggesting that they should react carefully, saying, “Looking at the article, there seems to be no specific damage facts”, and “I think we have to properly weigh the authenticity.”
Cho Byeong-gyu’s side has not yet revealed its position on the suspicion of the abuse.
