Cak Imin vs Yenny Wahid Conflict, Here’s the History

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin again clashed with Zannuba Ariffah Chafsoh or Yenny Wahid. The conflict between the two stretches back more than a decade.

The conflict started when Yenny asked Muhaimin, who is familiarly called Cak Imin, not to force him to run in the 2024 Presidential Election.

“We urge politicians whose surveys are not too up-to-date not to be too insistent (going for the presidential election), most importantly the PKB general chairman should not then take a position opposite NU, sorry for the people below,” said Yenny. as well as PKB, NU people in PKB.”

Yenny’s comment was then replied by Muhaimin. Through social media twitter, Muhaimin asked Yenny to just take care of the party he had created, the Indonesian National Sovereignty Party (PKBI).

“Yeni is not PKB, just making the party itself fail to qualify, several elections attacking PKB didn’t affect it, PKB kept increasing its vote, so why not get involved in managing PKB, just live your failed party. PKB is safe and comfortable.” Muhaimin tweeted.

Yenny also replied to the tweet. He insinuated Muhaimin as the person who took the PKB from his father, Abdurrahman Wahid or Gus Dur.

“Hahaha it’s great, Cak. But don’t worry about it, Cak. And it’s true, I’m not PKB Cak Imin. I’m PKB Gus Dur. Cak Imin isn’t necessarily able to make your own party… you usually take someone else’s party. Peace , Cak,” Yenny tweeted through her Twitter account.
