Camila Cabello will take part in the upcoming season of the American version of the program The Voice as a coach on one of the red swivel chairs. The 25-year-old singer announced the news via social media.
“See you this fall!” Cabello wrote. She sits next to Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and John Legend. The singer takes over from Ariana Grande, who in turn replaced Nick Jonas. NBCUniversal, the station that broadcasts the show, confirmed the news.
It will be the 22nd season of the singing competition and Cabello was already seen as an advisor in the last edition. Of the current coaches, Shelton is the only one who has played all seasons. Stefani and Legend took a seat on the famous red chairs a few years later.
John de Mol is still one of the executive producers of the program he devised.
