Campaign begins giving cancer patients the chance to play Smash Bros. Ultimate

Super Smash Bros.

Chris Taylor loves video games and when Nintendo announced Super Smash Bros. UltimateHe was just as pumped as everyone else – but with a catch. Taylor has end-stage cancer and made the bold decision in July to refuse any further treatment. He was given life between 3 to 6 months.

Taylor's comments on social media – reflecting that he may not be alive when the game comes out in December – sparked a wave of support from the Nintendo community, and now a campaign has begun to overtake Taylor – who is actually bedridden to get. Pre-access to Smash.

Those involved in the campaign have engaged in social media to raise awareness of Taylor's plight on Nintendo of America. We are more than happy to reinforce this message on Nintendo Life – so please, join in your own voice of this movement and Taylor may get his wish.
