Canada ‘strikes back’ Russia: Bans entry to Putin, relatives and collaborators

Canada prevent the entry into the country of the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, his relatives, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergei Lavrovas well as from other senior officials y Russian oligarchs that have been sanctioned by the country in the north of the American continent, the Canadian government announced on Tuesday.

In response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Canada has imposed economic sanctions on Putin, Lavrovas well as their daughters and other close relatives.

Sanctioned individuals may not receive financial services in Canada or Canadians abroad.
