Canadiens: Carey Price and Brendan Gallagher were in training on Tuesday

BROSSARD, Qc – Goalkeeper Jake Allen, as well as forwards Josh Anderson and Eric Staal did not participate in the Montreal Canadiens’ training on Tuesday morning.

The three enjoyed a day of treatment the day after a 4-3 overtime loss to the Edmonton Oilers.

Despite this loss, the Canadian got the point necessary to confirm his participation in the playoffs.

Goalkeeper Carey Price has been in full training with his teammates for the first time since suffering a concussion against the Oilers on April 19.

Interim head coach Dominique Ducharme said Monday morning that Price is not expected to return to play before the start of the playoffs, however.

The Canadiens will conclude their regular schedule on Wednesday, when they welcome the Oilers back to the Bell Center at 5 p.m.

For his part, Brendan Gallagher participated in a second training session with the regular squad on Tuesday. He was wearing a pale blue sweater again to signify that he had to avoid contact.

Gallagher suffered a broken thumb of his right hand on April 5, when he was hit by a shot from teammate Alexander Romanov.

Finally, center Phillip Danault was able to skate alone, he who entered the NHL concussion protocol a few days ago.
