Together with ordinary Germans, Austrians, Belgians and Poles, car dealers, whose salons were seized by the elements, became victims of floods in Europe. Photos and videos published by eyewitnesses on social networks speak of their deplorable state.
For example, in the German city of Leverkusen near Cologne, dozens of new Audi cars were flooded as a result of the spill of the nearby Rhine River right in the showroom. Sedans, hatchbacks and crossovers that have not managed to find their owners are standing in the water with their doors open. Some of them were scooped up by the water, making spontaneous pyramids of machines.
On a video posted on the Web by one of the local residents, you can see that the damage from the flooding of a dozen new premium cars is estimated at at least hundreds of thousands of euros.
Among the dirty and wet cars, between which the author of the video walks on water, one can consider both the popular Audi Q3, Q5 and Q8 SUVs, as well as the rare electric e-tron GT, e-tron and e-tron Sportback. And with them the sporty RS6 Avant and RS Q3 Sportback.
The video was filmed the day after the incident, when the water in the building subsided. On the video published in the same place, which was filmed on the day of the flood, you can see how all the same cars are standing on the roof in the water. And some even went under the water entirely.
