The Ministry of Transport of Russia has prepared a new draft amendments to the Rules of the road. In particular, the Ministry of Transport proposes to change the rules for controlling tinting in cars. This was reported by the Kommersant edition, referring to the document.

As noted, the department proposed to reduce the limit on the light transmittance of the windshield to 70 percent (from 75 percent), while the norms for other glasses are not set. According to the new rules, the use of any fire extinguishers, emergency stop signs and medical kits is allowed in the car. The new project proposes to prohibit stopping and parking on the safety islands. With regard to the coverage area of ​​the “No Stop” sign, it will stop after the “Parking” sign.

The amendments propose to introduce a speed limit for buses. Vehicles equipped with seat belts and only with seating places will be able to reach speeds of up to 90 kilometers per hour, for other buses a limit of 70 kilometers per hour has been introduced. For buses carrying children, the use of orange beacons will be mandatory. The sign “Bus traffic prohibited” is also introduced.

The draft amendments were sent to one of the working groups of the think tank under the government, where “regulatory procedures” are now underway.
