The 25th James Bond film “No Time to Die” will be released in April – it will be Daniel Craig's fifth and last appearance as legendary secret agent 007.
Bond fans have long speculated about possible successors, officially nothing is known yet. In any case, it will not be a woman, as Bond producer Barbara Broccoli (59) emphasized in an interview with the US industry newspaper “Variety”.
"He can have any skin color, but he's male," Broccoli said of Her Majesty's secret agent. The US producer advocated creating “strong female characters”. She has no interest in taking a male figure and letting a woman play it. "I think women are far more interesting than that," said Broccoli.
The 25th Bond film is directed by the American Cary Fukunaga. Alongside Craig, Oscar winner Rami Malek (“Bohemian Rhapsody”) will act as the villain. Ana de Armas, Léa Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Christoph Waltz also play.
