Edinson Cavani was very close to a transfer to Rayo Vallecano, but the plans of the Spanish club were thwarted after Salernitana joined the race for the signature of the former goal scorer of Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United.
Cavani will receive a minimum wage, but there will be fantastic bonuses if he agrees to the offer from Salerno.
In particular, each goal of the Uruguayan veteran will bring him 200,000 euros, so if Cavani manages to reach fifteen goals, he will receive a three million euro bonus through this clause alone.
Sources close to the goal scorer claim that he is maximally motivated and is seriously considering this option. A transfer to Salernitana would mean Cavani’s return to Serie A after a nine-year hiatus when he left Napoli for PSG.
