Check! These are the latest Domestic Flight Terms

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The government has extended the implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) for two weeks until October 4, 2021. However, there were a number of adjustments to community activities during the extension of the PPKM.

The government through the Ministry of Home Affairs has again revised the conditions for boarding flights for domestic flights as an effort to control the Covid-19 pandemic.

The travel requirements are stated in the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri) Number 43 of 2021 concerning the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities Level 4, Level 3, and Level 2 Covid-19 in the Java and Bali Region and Inmendagri No. 44 of 2021 concerning Implementation of PPKM Level 4, Level 3, Level 2, and Level 1 and Optimizing Covid-19 Handling Posts at the Village and Sub-District Levels to Control the Spread of Covid-19 in Sumatra, Nusa Tenggara, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua.

Although in Java and Bali there are no longer areas that are included in the PPKM level 4 category, there are at least 10 regions outside Java and Bali that are still level 4. The 10 areas are Aceh Tamiang Regency, Pidie Regency, Padang City, Bangka Regency, City of Banjarbaru, Banjarmasin City, Balikpapan City, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, Tarakan City and Bulungan Regency.

For the Java-Bali area, domestic travelers who use public transportation such as airplanes are regulated that passengers must show a vaccine card (at least the first dose of vaccination).

Then, airplane passengers are required to show a certificate of negative RT-PCR test results whose samples were taken within a maximum period of 2×24 hours before departure.

Provisions for PCR and vaccine cards only apply to arrivals from outside Java and Bali or departures from Java and Bali to outside Java and Bali regions.

For travel by plane between cities or regencies within Java-Bali, it can show a negative antigen (H-1) result provided that you have received a second dose of vaccination and a negative PCR result (H-2) if you have just received a dose of 1 vaccine.

Meanwhile, outside Java-Bali, the requirement is to show a vaccine card at least the first dose of vaccination, showing PCR (H-2) for aircraft. This rule only applies to arrivals and departures from and to areas designated as PPKM level 4.

While carrying out activities in public places during the PPKM period, people are still asked to wear masks correctly and consistently. In addition, it is forbidden to use a face shield without wearing a mask.
