Chicana activist Elizabeth “Betita” Martínez dies in California | People | USA Edition

The activist, author and pioneer of the Chicano movement Elizabeth “Betita” Martínez died at dawn this Tuesday at the age of 95 in a hospital in San Francisco, California, leaving a legacy of struggle for Americans of Latino descent.
