Former National Technical Commissioner, Gian Piero Ventura. Handle
It could be already over. Gian Piero Ventura, immediately after the home draw (2-2) against Bologna, has resigned as coach of Chievo. But the club for now would have "frozen", to deepen the decision of the technician and decide whether or not to continue the relationship. In the next hours Ventura will meet the president Campedelli, who left the stadium prematurely during the match against Bologna. The former c.t. Italy has led the Venetian team for only four Serie A games: three losses and a draw, just today's against rossobl. From the Bentegodi it emerges that Ventura remained in the locker room for a long time after the match, talking to the team and advising the players of the decision taken. He did not present himself before the microphones and from Chievo no further communications were received. The team is zero in the standings, after having shrugged off the penalty thanks to a draw against Bologna.
