“Children can sleep alone by five months”

W ELT: Mrs. Schneider, healthy sleep, can you briefly describe what that should look like? Schneider: The healthy child’s sleep is relaxed – for both child and parent. He is quiet, so no snoring or teeth grinding. And he is restful, the child is balanced during the day and does not fall asleep involuntarily.WORLD: If sleep does not look like that, how likely is it that the child is simply not such a good sleeper by nature?
