The powerhouse couple Chip and Joanna Gaines have made it a bit easier for us to afford a kitchen or even a house designed by them. Maria Mercedes Galuppo from Buzz60 offers more.
Her favorite design couple is back on TV!
"We signed a secrecy and it was said that you can tell your mother, but that's it," joked Chip. "So, Mom, I just wanted to make a quick announcement, we're coming back to TV, they're coming When we see the kids growing up, you'll see us, maybe a six month delay like the rest of the world, but we'll be happy, again to be here. "
Chip added that the five-year process of HGTV's "Fixer Upper" helped the couple solve some of the issues that their next business had encountered.
"So we've partnered with David Zaslav (Discovery's Chief Executive Officer) and Discovery, and we're going to have a network, and I think we're really going to work it out in a way that makes sense for us and our family," he revealed. "There will be a lot of filmmaking in Waco, Texas, so we do not have to travel much, so we're very excited when things are the same."
Magnolia, the couple's home design and décor company, also confirmed the news in a statement to People.
"We are pleased to announce that we are in the early stages of discussing Discovery with a lifestyle-oriented media network for Magnolia," said Magnolia spokesman John Marsicano. "The details that provide this opportunity remain in the works, but together we hope to create another platform for unique, inspirational and family-friendly content."
