With the presence of the Secretary of Education and Culture of the Government of the State of Colima, Adolfo Núñez González, the meeting of the State Commission for Higher Education Planning (COEPES) was held, where the calendar for the 2023 level admission process was defined. superior, as well as the dates of the 2023 Professional Fair.
The head of Education referred to the importance of those who make up COEPES, since important decisions arise from this body, both to increase educational coverage; attract to the classrooms those who did not finish their studies; as well as to motivate students to continue their studies to the next level.
Adolfo Núñez reiterated that the administration of Governor Indira Vizcaíno Silva is giving all its support to the studious youth, following the national line promoted by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador; he said that the promotion of the educational offer is strategic in this purpose, so that the young people continue their training.
As part of the agreements of this Commission, it was defined that the call for the 2023 admission process will be published on February 20; online registration will be from March 6 to 24; the online registration for the EXANI II evaluation will take place from March 7 to 28 and its application will be on May 16 and 17; while the results of this evaluation instrument will be announced on June 12.
It was agreed that the publication of the results of acceptance of students to Higher Education institutions will be issued on June 12. In the case of the professional fair, -whose objective is to guide students to identify careers and modalities offered by middle and higher education institutions- it will take place on March 15 in Colima; on March 22 in Tecomán and on March 24 in Manzanillo.
Finally, the agreements of the ordinary session of the COEPES deliberation space were followed up. In this work meeting were the head of the Educational Liaison Office, Teresa de Jesús Ramírez; the director of Higher and Higher Secondary Education, Fabián Hernández Ramírez; authorities and representatives of public and private higher education educational institutions; as well as personnel from the educational sector.
