Commission VI Members Urge CoFTRA to Unblock DNA Pro Member Withdrawals

JAKARTA, investor.id – Member of Commission VI DPR Mufti Anam urged the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (Bappebti) of the Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) to unblock the disbursement of account funds trading company member robot trading DNA Pro. In this way, people can get their funds back.

“CoFTRA can do this on a limited basis. Don’t leave everything to law enforcement (Bareskrim Polri Headquarters) but the community can’t do anything and the funds don’t come back,” said Mufti during a meeting with CoFTRA staff at the Ministry of Trade at the Parliament Complex, Wednesday (25/5/2022).

In addition, the Mufti also highlighted the performance of CoFTRA which was considered late in anticipating the development of digital technology, especially related to cryptocurrencies and trading using robots. In fact, with the current disruption of technology and information, the use of robots in commodity trading has become a necessity.

In the context of the DNA Pro issue, Mufti suggested that CoFTRA do 2 things for the people who are members of the company robot trading that. First, open a member or customer complaint service center from the company robot trading and second, to open a physical complaint communication post for the community.

“This is a place for the community or members of DNA Pro to express their aspirations. Moreover, so far they have no place to complain,” he added.

To fill the legal void related to this trading robot, said Mufti, his party asked CoFTRA to be proactive in formulating it. In fact, CoFTRA was asked within a month to have finished compiling the related regulations robot trading.

“I asked Babbepti to set a target, when and how to make the regulation. CoFTRA can be proactive in inviting or requesting an audience with Commission VI. I think CoFTRA needs to answer that in this meeting,” concluded Mufti.
