Sports cars with thermal engines, it's past! In October 2018, Peugeot closed a page in its history to open another with the announcement of the development of a range of electrified sports vehicles. A necessary evolution under penalty of seeing the species disappear because of the drastic reduction of CO2 emissions imposed by Europe in the next ten years.
350 horses goal
Due to the lack of powerful heat engines, Peugeot could not compete with the big German brands. This change is an opportunity since the future 508 high performance, very close to this concept, will become the most powerful model of the brand thanks to the rechargeable hybrid. A sharp dress
Peugeot style teams have enhanced sportiness while working on aerodynamics. The front shield adopts large scoops of yellow color Kryptonite and flaps on the sides. The grille is sharpened with floating blades. The rear part is characterized by a new diffuser as well as original small fins at the level of the custodes. The cabin, meanwhile, receives a high-end treatment since the roof, the amounts of windshield, the strip on the dashboard, door panels … are dressed Alcantara. The new seats leather and Alcantara provide better support and the center console is adorned with carbon fiber.
